Dear TAO Family and Friends, Regardless of where you live when you are not at TAO, March is a month when we feel a change in the weather. Some will mourn the loss of ski season, others will be heading home from TAO and some are looking forward to the end of a challenging winter. Here we are having fun. The ocean is warm and clear like the skies and the many changes we face are tempered by our love of nature and the way it sooths us. Let nature be your source of reflection and fresh perspectives this month. As for the weather, March in Mexico is usually dry and warm to hot. The third Monday is a holiday in commemoration of Benito Juarez' birthday, and the Spring Equinox where thousands flock to the main Temple of Kukulkan at Chichen Itza to witness the play of light and shadow which shows a serpent descending the stairs of the temple. My quote of the month: Happy March everyone! Isaac Henares |

Spring Equinox at Chichen ItzáSeen in different indigenous cultures throughout Mesoamerica as a feathered snake, Kukulkan, will make its descend on the luscious, tropical jungles of the Yucatan Peninsula this March 21st during the spring equinox at Chichen Itzá. Every year, thousands of people travel to Chichen Itzá—one of the New Seven Wonders of the World—to witness the symbolic descent of the deity. This incredible example of the Mayan’s architectural intelligence is created when the sunlight bathes the western part of the pyramid’s main stairway. Seven isosceles triangles are formed and compose the body of the 37 yard-long serpent that creeps downwards until it joins the serpent’s head carved in stone at the bottom of the stairway. Kukulkan—the feathered snake—descends twice a year during the spring and autumn equinox. |

What is New at TAO Rentals?A LOT! We have been very busy marketing for our owners and getting though our first full holiday season. We were pretty much booked solid through most of December and January. Things continue to be very busy and we are taking bookings into 2016! We have been working very hard behind the scenes to fine tune all of our systems. We made it though the Holiday Rush with very few issues and almost all of our guests had an awesome time at TAO in our owner's beautiful places. Some surprise construction projects caused us some problems but we dealt with them as best we could. As some of you may have seen we have had our third party SEO and Internet Marketing consultant hard at work every day improving our search engine rankings and putting out lots of Facebook Posts, Twitter Tweets, Pinetrest Posts and many more Social Media blurbs. We are listed in more that a dozen independent sites and are coming up on the first page of Google in many searches now. We want to say hi to our existing clients and welcome many of our new home owners aboard. We have come a long way from when Mike Young was our only unit just over a year ago. Speaking of that unit, our very first guests, Stuart and Leslie from England, are coming back to stay with us again this week! We have exceeded our expectations for such a rapid start and are excited for the future. We have given our full attention the last couple of months to making sure our guest were well taken care of. This has caused us to be just a bit behind in our accounting and admin but we are almost caught up. Thank you all for your patience as we get through a little growing pain. We think the attention given to our guests will benefit all of us when we get favorable reviews and return clients from satisfied tenants. Saludos! |
