Dear TAO Family!Welcome to August - things are as busy as ever! The process of delivering the ZEN Building is underway and we have found some opportunities based on the feedback from our owners to make some wonderful improvements. This may add a little time to the delivery, but we are excited about the results. It is a bit ironic to have a building named “ZEN” present a moment for our community to cultivate a “Zen attitude.” Zen, as many of you know, is an ancient tradition that grew out of Buddhism, with a strong focus on seated meditation, simplicity of thought and minimalist art and culture. One of the core ideas in Zen is that a patient, watchful, non-judging attitude can foster a moment of deeper awareness regardless of what is being done. Washing dishes, walking, driving, eating or golfing - a Zen attitude is about creating a peaceful, mindful experience at all times so that we can not live in reaction, and instead witness the beauty and wisdom that is ever-present.
