Buying in Tao Tulum is a really smart decision. You’re getting in early in an exploding tourist destination that is already following in the footsteps of its bigger neighbours, Playa Del Carmen and Cancun. Living in Tulum, we can see the transformation right before our very eyes.
When you think of Tulum you probably think of its world-famous beach, but you might not know that Tulum is popular with tourists for many other reasons as well. For a town of its size, it's hard to believe that there are so many different things to do here.
Let me give you an idea of some of the activities people can do – people who will be your renters when your Tao Tulum condo is move-in ready.
Fine Dining and Healthy Eating.
You’ll be impressed by Tulum’s wide array of fine dining options, with an emphasis on clean eating and organic food. There’s a big foodie scene in Tulum. So much so, that guests in our other communities come to Tulum just to eat out, and who can blame them, it’s delicious! I just love trying out new restaurants at weekends with my friends, there is such great variety that we get to try something new every weekend.

Wellness and Fitness Enthusiasts
Tulum is a destination in its own right for tourists who like to relax, meditate or practice yoga, and where better to do so than in our own Tao communities? We get a lot of repeat visitors in our Tao community because we offer a range of different activities…as we’ll do in Tao Tulum. Visitors come back year after year to take advantage of these amenities.
Divers
Did you know that Tulum offers top-notch reef diving and snorkelling?
Tulum is known for its famous cenotes (freshwater pools that are connected by underground rivers). Some of the cenotes have crystal-clear water, offering more than 300 feet of underwater visibility. One of the most popular is El Gran Cenote, located two miles from Tulum. This large cenote has caves where swimmers can snorkel and dive.
Tulum also has one of the top 10 longest underwater cave systems in the world called Dos Ojos. This cenote has the deepest known cave passage in the state of Quintana Roo, at 396 feet under the surface. It also has a bat cave that visitors can explore. Perfect for adventurers and divers. And adventurers and divers are just a sample of the widening pool of renters that you will enjoy as an owner in Tao Tulum.
Visitors to the Mayan Ruins
Tulum's ruins are probably the most dramatically located of all the Mayan ruins, sitting atop a rugged cliff facing a pristine beach and beautiful blue Caribbean water. And better yet, the ruins are only a short distance from Tao Tulum. This area has lots of Mayan ruins that attract history buffs…another group you can target when you want to rent your Tao Tulum home.
Nature Enthusiasts
Tulum is close to Akumal, famous for its large population of sea turtles. Swimming with turtles tops many visitors must-do lists to this coast, and Akumal is the best place to do it.

Tulum is also home to the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to tropical forests, marshes, and a variety of animals ranging from monkeys to flamingos, as well hundreds of bird species. It’s paradise for nature lovers and bird and wildlife watchers.
Beachgoers
Finally, let’s not forget the beach in Tulum. Tulum is recognized as being one of the, if not the, best beach in Mexico - and possibly the world.

As a Tao owner, you (and your renters) will love finding some of the secret beaches around Tulum…all endless white sand…and you can also chill out at our own beach club close by which is available to all our owners and their guests.
So now you have a snapshot of just some of the people that could rent from you when your Tao Tulum condo is delivered. The great thing is that these tourism segments are really hot right now and are only going to grow even more in the future, which is good news for you as an investor!
Tao Tulum is located in the Aldea Zama community which is a five-minute bike ride to the beach and less to Tulum Town. The amazing thing for you as an owner (and for all your visitors and renters) is that all these activities will be right on your doorstep.
